Volunteers Needed!
Newcomers is looking for members to volunteer to work a shift at a Taste of Park Ridge ticket booth on Thursday, July 10th - Saturday, July 12th.
The Taste is a fun time, where you get to say hello to all who are coming to enjoy the wonderful food and drink we have to offer in Park Ridge and promote our club by just being there! All you do is hang out, usually with a fellow Newcomer, and sell tickets to people coming to the Taste. A small role to play at the Taste and such a big role in promoting our club and supporting our great community.
From one of our members - "I really enjoyed doing this several years ago and this is the first time I've been available to do it again. I'm very happy to help. It was fun. We gabbed while we sold tickets and got to enjoy a great band".
If you can help, please sign up for any shift available. Once you proceed to register for the event, you will pick a shift at the bottom of the form. If you would like to help out at an additional shift, please list that one in the Comments section. Shortly before the Taste of Park Ridge, I will be in contact to let you know when and where to go.
